Ekdum Darjeelingey Homemade Peanut Butter

This half eaten jar of peanut butter is a tried and tested recipe of mine, also a favorite with family and friends. It just melts in your mouth and is thick and creamy, laden with crunchy peanuts in every scoop. So frequent were the pats on my back (at the risk of sounding pompous :) !) that I had to go retail with it. Please call me at 91 9933077630/1 to order ( I will be happy to ship them for you) or you can buy them locally at Nimto near the Club Stand in Darjeeling.

Kitchen Krafts

Another love of mine is cooking and baking and spending hours in the kitchen concocting and innovating recipes. With a confession to make that I have had no formal training, I am on a constant quest to absorb and learn as much as I can. We are also planning to retail some of our pickles and other concoctions. So please stay in tune with Kitchen Krafts!

Kiddie Mocs

Hasty Hat

This treat is made with silk yarn which was a new arrival at our local yarn store. I picked it up hastily thinking it might be grabbed by another enthusiastic knitter since such treats are hard to come by here.
I also hastily put together a hat with it for Zayn wanting to know how it feels to the needles and to the touch. I think my little one likes it since he wears it everytime he goes out to play with his buddies in the winter sun. It's quite warm actually since the yarn seems to be a mixture of silk and wool.

It's easy to make too, if you know how to knit and purl. Can be done in a jiffy. In my excitement of having something new in my hands, I finished it in a day.
I'm sorry about the phone camera image resolution. Didn't have my usual shutterbox handy :)

Snuggly Green Mocs

Really easy to make and very comfortable to wear. I used a skein of highland wool for the knit to give it that extra snuggle and a crosstitched front for that extra twist.

Gray Scarf

This scarf is lusciously blended, soft and cosy. A great gift idea ! I made it for a loved one as a winter gift.

Sunny Scarf

Another thoughtful gift for your loved ones this winter.A hand knit scarf which could work both ways...for her and him. It sits around your neck like a big soft hug. The piece has been made with two shades of yellow...left over wool that I found in our stash.

Kiddie Fingerless Gloves

A pair of warm gloves for your little one's hands to snuggle into this winter. My lil one is already wearing them. You can call me and order if you want a pair just like these for yours! They are made with cashmere wool and are beautifully soft to the touch.
